This weekend I was up in Michigan and got a chance to ride the Fort Custer mountain bike trails. My research on the web the week before told me Fort Custer promised some nice singletrack through sandy dirt with the occasional obstacle thrown into the mix. I only had time to run the Red loop

I came across this video of Farmdale Reservoir near Peoria, IL. Back in college I did a race at Kickapoo and the trails were pretty decent. Had some good climbs and single track. Farmdale looks to have a lot of the same and also has a “stunt course” with wood bridges and other obstacles. PAMBA

Every year Forest City Riders Enduro Club holds an enduro race followed by a Dual Sport Ride in the town of Leaf River, IL.
